The Savannah River is a major river in the southeastern United States, forming most of the border between the states of South Carolina and Georgia. My photographic reference for the painting is looking from the river bank towards South Carolina. I feel the variations of blue in the river water in the painting give the impression that the water is moving . Custom framed
