Lindenberg Lake is a studio painting completed from sketches and photographs I took while in Highlands, North Carolina. The rhododendron draping the pond's banks and waterlilies floating on the lake were what drew me in! Having been brought up in this area of North Carolina and with first hand experience with a scene so familiar, this landscape oil painting was such a joy to create.
