Winter Warmers by Deanna Jaugstetter

Winter can bring gloomy days but I have found ways to make these days even more cozy than their sunny counterparts. A robust, aromatic coffee and donut greet me in the morning. In early evening I pour myself a glass of Chardonnay while I prepare dinner! How do you find pleasure on a wintry day? Enjoy!

While in Italy, I had a delicious 7 course mean with a large variety of wines served with each course. The Banfi Family Winery is one of the largest in Italy, it being located in the Tuscany area. If you are a traveler I would recommend the Tuscany area and long to return!

There was a Santa siting at my house today! I caught site of him climbing down off my roof and suspect that before Santa comes down anyone's chimney, he does a preliminary inspection! I immediately got out my palette and paint brushes to describe for you what I have seen!!! If you have a chimney, make sure the damper is open and keep your eyes open for surprises the next couple of days!
