Recently, I painted with a nationally known oil painter in the mountains of north Georgia, my home state. The weather was gloomy in the mornings but the sun came out in the late afternoon to light this delightful dirt path whose shadows caught my eye. Let's Take A Walk, a small oil landscape painting is a result of this long winding path with a distant range of mountains!

I am working on values and decided to complete this work entirely in neutral greys and browns for an earthy feeling in the painting! It has turned out to be quite a challenge but I love a challenge!!
