Lately, I have been obsessed with watching the birds at the feeder in my back yard ! The only problem is that as soon as the camera shutter opens they fly away! Even so, I have captured several of them on camera and am making them come alive on canvas! For this wildlife oil painting I chose to apply the paint with a palette knife to give texture to the distant woods! Birds are easy to love!
