"Olmsted Path" is an oil landscape painting inspired by photographs taken at "Olmsted Linear Park Plein Air Paint Out, 2015. The series of 5 parks stretching along tree lined streets are a welcoming place to sit and reflect on the events of the day. I had the pleasure of painting in two of the parks this summer. White Calf,Bovine Art Painting "Daisy" by Georgia Artist Deanna Jaugstetter

FRESH OFF THE EASEL....

While I love the city life, when choosing subject matter for my paintings, I return to my roots! I absolutely love to paint cows! Our family had a milk cow when I was a small child. I enjoyed the smooth cold drink at every meal. I, however, never learned to love buttermilk! "Daisy" is a domestic animal oil painting of a calf who was born on a farm in South Carolina. I fell in love with her at first site! I look forward to possibly painting her again!

My interpretation of the events is this small landscape oil painting named appropriately " Riverbank Reflections" .
