A plein air painting, "From Within", an oil landscape painting with architecture describes the intention for this painting. I had listened to another painter from Provence, France, speak of painting from your soul. As I stood on this path,I was letting my brush be guided by my sense of the place, the sun light coming from the back of the windows, the shadow falling over the path.
